Spring/Summer Style with Tobi

I first discovered Tobi a few years ago when I was in college at Syracuse University. I remember placing my first order around this time of year because they had some of the best spring/summer pieces at an affordable price. Fortunately, the same still rings true! Whenever spring rolls around, I can count on Tobi to have stylish dresses, skirts, tops and tanks that instantly become wardrobe staples that don’t break the bank.

My favorite part of the spring season is of course warmer weather, but with that comes the chance to start wearing all of my favorite dresses again. From light blue denim to soft white cotton, I opt to wear a dress most days in the spring when the weather permits. They’re just so easy to put on in the morning when I can’t think straight because my brain hasn’t woken up yet. And they make me feel confident and put-together at the same time. That’s why I’ve teamed up with Tobi to style three spring dresses that are all very different, yet perfect to pair with different accessories that add your personal style into the mix. And did I mention they’re all very comfortable? Because comfort is always a huge deal breaker for me.

The All Dolled Up White Multi Wrap Dress is a stunning white number with a dainty floral pattern. I do wish that I could have been a bit more tan wearing this one given the color, but it made me feel both feminine and romantic nonetheless. If you’re a petite girl like myself, make sure to wear a cami or bralette (whatever you feel comfortable with) underneath. The neckline will likely plunge a bit more than you expect it to, but that’s not a bad thing as long as you’re prepared. I paired the dress with the Steve Madden Irenee Ankle Strap Sandal and my grey tote bag from Zara. Both the shoes and the bag are great staples in my wardrobe that go with basically everything I own!

The Sabrina Blush Cami Strap Shift Dress is perfect for those really hot days as it’s incredibly lightweight/ airy and will certainly keep you cool. This cami style dress is perfect to throw on after you’ve spent the day at the beach or lounging by the pool. I expect I’ll be wearing this one a ton in the summer because it’s super casual and perfect for weekends down the shore. However, you can see that I had to wear it with a jacket because it wasn’t as warm outside as I hoped it would be! The J.Crew double-strap slides in snakeskin-printed leather are super fun, stylish and versatile. My favorite part about this pair is the gold, glittery heel…swoon. And because I love to make a statement with accessories, I paired the look with the Marks & Spencer Aztec Print Hand Embellished Clutch Bag with Strap.

And lastly, the Maverick Blue Chambray Shift Dress is probably my favorite of the three due to it’s adorable pockets and frayed hem (two details that I just LOVE). Chambray is the perfect material to wear during spring/summer due to how lightweight it is – it’s essentially a cotton fabric weaved together with colored and white yarn. I used to confuse it with denim, which is typically heavier and woven differently. I saw the J.Crew Leather-Backed Sequin Petal Earrings all over Instagram and knew instantly they had to be mine! These statement earrings really jazz up any outfit and the best part is that they’re actually incredibly lightweight. Although, they make look heavy given the size!

The Marks & Spencer Pure Leather Shoulder Bag is what dreams are made of…I mean how cute is it?! It’s spacious, stylish, and has become my go-to weekend handbag for obvious reasons. You can even wear it over the shoulder or as a crossbody because it has a strap that I’ve tucked away. And finally on my feet are the most charming pair of sandals you ever did see. They’re the Steve Madden Madison Sandals and they make me want to take a plane to the Caribbean stat.
